Privacy Policy

Who we are

ClariFAR is operated by JeLe Ventures LLC, a Florida limited liability company. When this policy says "we," "us," or "ClariFAR," it means JeLe Ventures LLC.

What we collect

• Account information. Email address and name when you sign up.
• Questions you ask. The regulatory questions you submit through the chat interface. We store these to deliver answers, improve retrieval accuracy, and provide your question history.
• Scanner inputs. NAICS codes you enter in the FAR Impact Scanner. If you provide your email, we store it to send the weekly FAR digest you opted into.
• Payment information. Processed by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers. See Stripe's privacy policy.
• Usage data. Standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited). We use this to maintain service reliability and detect abuse.

How we use your data

• To deliver cited FAR/DFARS answers to your questions.
• To process your subscription and billing.
• To send the weekly FAR digest (if you opted in via the scanner).
• To improve answer quality and retrieval accuracy.
• To detect and prevent abuse of the service.

Are my questions confidential?

Yes. Your questions are stored in our database and used only to deliver answers and improve the service. We do not share your questions with other users, sell them to third parties, or use them to train AI models outside of ClariFAR.

Questions are processed by Anthropic's Claude API to generate answers. Anthropic's API terms state that API inputs are not used to train their models. See Anthropic's privacy policy.

Where your data lives

Your data is stored in the United States on Supabase (PostgreSQL, hosted on AWS us-east-1). Backups are encrypted at rest. The application is hosted on Railway (backend) and Vercel (frontend), both US-based infrastructure providers.

Data retention

Account data and question history are retained while your account is active. If you cancel, we retain your data for 90 days (in case you resubscribe), then delete it. You can request immediate deletion by emailing privacy@clarifar.com.

Third-party services

• Stripe for payment processing.
• Anthropic (Claude) for AI-powered answer generation.
• Supabase for database hosting.
• Vercel for frontend hosting.
• Railway for backend hosting.

We do not use tracking pixels, advertising networks, or analytics services that profile individual users.

Your rights

You can request a copy of your data, correction of inaccurate data, or deletion of your account by emailing privacy@clarifar.com. We will respond within 30 days.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the service evolves. Material changes will be communicated via email to active subscribers. The effective date at the top of this page reflects the last update.
