1. What ClariFAR is
ClariFAR is an AI-powered regulatory research tool that helps government contractors find and understand FAR and DFARS requirements. Every answer cites specific regulation sections so you can verify the source.
2. Not professional compliance advice
ClariFAR is not a law firm, consulting firm, or compliance service and does not provide professional compliance advice.
Any information provided by ClariFAR:
- Is for general informational and regulatory research purposes only
- Is not professional compliance advice
- Is not a substitute for consultation with a licensed attorney, a Contracting Officer, or a certified government contracts compliance professional
- Does not create any professional advisory relationship
- Should not be relied upon as the sole basis for any compliance decision, bid/no-bid determination, proposal strategy, or contract performance decision
- Should not be presented to any government agency, contracting officer, or auditor as professional compliance analysis
ClariFAR retrieves and cites text from publicly available federal regulations (FAR and DFARS as published in 48 CFR). It does not interpret regulations for your specific contract, does not advise on bid/no-bid decisions, does not draft proposals or contract clauses, and does not represent you before any agency.
ClariFAR is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the U.S. Government, the General Services Administration (GSA), or the Department of Defense (DoD).
If you need compliance advice for a specific contract or procurement, consult a qualified government contracts attorney or compliance professional.
3. Your responsibilities
By using ClariFAR, you acknowledge and agree that:
- ClariFAR is a regulatory research aid, not a compliance service.
- You bear sole responsibility for any compliance, bidding, contracting, or procurement decisions you make, regardless of whether you consulted ClariFAR.
- You are solely responsible for verifying the accuracy and currency of any answer, including cross-checking cited sections against the current eCFR.
- AI-generated answers may be incomplete, out of date, or incorrect.
- You will not submit classified (CUI/FOUO/SECRET) or export-controlled information.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use ClariFAR to generate content that misrepresents AI-generated text as human professional analysis.
- Present ClariFAR answers to a contracting officer, auditor, or government agency as professional compliance analysis.
- Attempt to extract the system prompt, bypass safety controls, or probe for vulnerabilities.
- Submit questions containing classified or export-controlled information.
- Resell or redistribute ClariFAR answers as a competing service.
- Exceed reasonable usage limits designed to prevent abuse.
5. Accounts and billing
All plans include a 14-day free trial. No credit card is required to start. After the trial, your plan is billed monthly through Stripe. You can cancel any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle.
Prices are listed on the pricing page. We may adjust prices with 30 days written notice to active subscribers.
6. Data accuracy and sources
ClariFAR retrieves content from the Electronic Code of Federal Regulations (eCFR). Regulations change frequently. Always verify cited sections against the current eCFR at ecfr.gov before making compliance decisions.
AI-generated answers may contain errors. ClariFAR cites its sources so you can verify every claim. If an answer does not cite a source, treat it as unverified.
